I am an eyeglass wearer, and I have never once bought prescription sunglasses. Why? Because they’re friggin’ expensive! I have a lot of other things I could be spending hard earned money on, like food and gas, I just can’t justify spending money on some stylish shades. I love mine, don’t get me wrong, but it does suck not being able to see as clearly as I could if I had prescription sunglasses.
I know you might think contacts are a viable option, and then one never has to worry about buying anything special- but the thought of sticking things in my eyes gives me the heebies, so glasses it is.
If you are like me, I may have a solution to you in the form of affordable prescription eyeglasses from Zenni Optical. I knew for a long time they had regular glasses (which can be pricey too without the right insurance, or any eye insurance at all), but didn’t until today know about their tinted lenses.
Basically, any glasses you find that you like for every day wear, they can tint the lens to make them sunglasses. Hell, with their cheap prices, you could pick out some regular glasses and get a second pair tinted for those bright days in the sun and sunny day drives. Their tinted lenses are just $4.95 more than regular lenses, and you can even choose from tint colors as well as the density of the tint.
This works especially well if you have a kid who wears glasses- as we all know how clumsy they are and how fast they can go through frames.
Personally, i’m really digging these cat-eyed frames. I’ve been looking for some for a while!

You know that feeling when you don't chew a chip all the way and it cuts you all the way down and you swear it's gonna kill you, but you go ahead have another right after? That's what it's like when you decide to have another kid.
For any parent who's ever had a kid who thinks they're more grown up than they are... and proves themselves wrong-- this story is for you holdinholden.com/2017/12/10-g…
