For years my family has used Walgreens as our only place to go to get prescriptions. It’s close, it’s convenient, it’s cheap, and most importantly- reliable. A change has been made recently that has put us in quite a quandary between Walgreens and Express Scripts.
Our insurance uses Express Scripts, but due to negotiations being unsuccessful, the contract has ended and Walgreens is now no longer a pharmacy provider of Express Scripts.
Only those who use Express Scripts are affected, like us- because now Walgreens is no longer covered under our insurance plan, forcing us to drive farther and go somewhere we aren’t comfortable with and don’t know as well as we know our local Walgreens. I know I for one am feeling disappointed by this, but all is not lost.
Express Scripts has already said that their members who switch will not see significant savings by doing so, they may even see an increase in prices. It may be a better idea to consider joining the
Walgreens Prescription Savings Club to get the best savings on medications!
For $35 a year, a family membership covers everyone in your immediate family, including a spouse, dependents 22 and younger and even pets (yes, pets!) Join and receive discount prices on your prescriptions. For a single individual you can join for $20

"Motherhood-- the days are long but the years are short" Wrong. The days are long but the SLEEP is short.
If you enjoy working hard to prep a delicious meal only to be told "I'm definitely going to hate that" before it's served, you'll love kids.
