I’ve written before about formula for babies- but I really am an enthusiast. I’d never tell someone which choice to make- whether it be breastfeeding or formula feeding- but if someone chooses formula feeding it’s important to be knowledgeable on what type to get, what’s in them, etc.
Comforts for Baby is a good formula to start with if you want to save money but also give your baby the best in nutrition next to breastmilk. These days, science is getting formula a lot closer to actual breastmilk- Comforts Formula contains DHA & ARA for brain and eye development, and now it is fortified with choline- a nutrient found naturally in breastmilk associated with an infants’ development. All formulas must be FDA approved and are held to high standards, so just because Comforts is ‘store brand’ doesn’t mean it’s made any differently than the pricey name brand formulas. You don’t need to pay the higher price tag for proper nutrition!
Right now, Comforts for baby is holding a contest that can help fund your child’s education- and in this economy I think just about everyone is worrying about how to afford college for their children.
All you have to do is visit the website, fill out the contest form- and help name their super cute Comforts Firefly in 25 characters or less and you’re entered to win! As simple as it is- I really like the name “Comfy”- seems to fit, right? The winner and winning entry will be announced September 21, 2009. All you have to do is go to www.comfortsforbaby.com and enter!
Leftovers are great for 2 things: Easy, quick dinners, and getting to hear your kids complain about the same meal twice in a week!

My 10 yo didn't know that Dick is short for Richard so he's spent the past 10 yrs thinking Dick's Sporting Goods is a store for penis sports
8yo told me that Oct 31st is "national knock-knock joke day"- which means Halloween will henceforth be known as "The Most Annoying Day Ever"
@SassyPsychDoc "It seemed like a good idea at the time"
@SassyPsychDoc I fact-checked him myself. Someone was seriously sleeping on the job that day
Thought my 8yo was lying when he said that a male woodchuck is a he-chuck & a female is a she-chuck.Nope. If I have to know that, so do you!
Sometimes advice from our kids is EXACTLY what we need to hear. Been a rough few months & what my 8yo said hit home holdinholden.com/2017/10/winn…
